VIVA A320 Cabin Lighting

During my tenure as a Flight Standards Coordinator for Cabin Crew, alongside customer service, I developed a new cabin lighting philosophy for VIVA. This philosophy was incorporated into the Cabin Crew procedures by mid-2021 and remained in effect until the airline ceased operations. Our goal with the new cabin lighting was to create a subtly enhanced experience for VIVA passengers, utilizing the LED lighting and smooth transitions available in our new Airbus A320 NEO fleet. This initiative represented the first stage of a broader vision to integrate mood lighting and color schemes into the cabin environment over the following years. This project was one of my key contributions as a Flight Standards Coordinator for Cabin Crew before I became an A320 First Officer for the company. Additionally, this video is highly useful for explaining and demonstrating the flexibility and dynamic changes that Cabin Crew can implement when adjusting cabin lighting properly. It also serves as a methodical learning tool to understand the Enhanced Forward Attendant Panel and its lighting functions on the A320.
