🎵 Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished The Final Chapter - Ice Ridge of Noltia

Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished The Final Chapter (イースII 失われし古代王国 最終章, Isu 2: Ushinawareshi Kodai Ōkoku Saishūshō, lit. 'Ys II: Lost Ancient Kingdom Final Chapter') is an action rpg developed and published by Nihon Falcom for the PC-8801 that was later ported to various platforms. It was first released on April 22, 1988 in Japan. Like its predecessor, Ys II was ported to the NEC PC-9801, Sharp X1, FM-7, MSX 2, and Famicom. The Turbografx16 CD version is considered to be one of the best versions of the game with Famitsu giving it a 35/40 while the Famicom version recieved a score of 27/40. While the graphics in Ys seem simplistic – and they are in some spots, compared to some other games back in the day, Ys set the standard for character artwork and portrait work, which can be seen in the various shops throughout the game. The games soundtrack was composed by Yuzo Koshiro, Mieko Ishikawa, and Hideya Nagata.
