19th Annual Haltech ECU World Cup Finals - Imports vs Domestic, Maryland Int'l Raceway November 7-9, 2014 CCC Racing said they had some unfinished business in the True Street class at World Cup Finals. So when Juan Rodriguez lined up the FTW Fuels Civic for round 1 of qualifying no one was expecting the time that popped up on the scoreboard, a 8.41 @ 173mph demolishing the old class record by .3 and this was done with a PTE6785 Turbo B Series. Unfortunately on this pass they had a slick blow out at the traps and do some damage to the shock so they say out the rest of qualifying to repair the car and get it ready for eliminations. Juan and the team accomplished what the set out to do, a new class record and taking home the WCF Cup Trophy with the class win, and kept the imports from being shutout. After last years overall win in classes by the imports.
