In today's video we will be comparing two EDC lights in the sub $80 range. The Fenix LD22 V2.0 Features an 800 Lumen peak output, with 11,500 candela. 5 static light output modes as well as a strobe and SOS feature. The Fenix also features "Dual Fuel" capability - it can be powered off the included 1100 MAH lithium cell, or off of 2x AA batteries. On the other hand we have the Nitecore EDC25, a light that offers over 3x the light output of the Fenix at 3000 claimed lumens. as well as double the candela at 22,500. The Nitecore features 4 power modes as well as a "turbo" mode and a "strobe" mode. In addition, the Nitecore is powered by an internal, rechargeable, 1700 MAH lithium battery. On paper, at only $10 more the Nitecore seems like the decided victor, but spec sheets rarely tell the whole tale. Let's talk about some of the lesser known factors that you might not be considering when choosing an EDC light!
