———— “A monster or the son of a king…” Thank you all a bunch for your support on my last Journey to Bethlehem cover! Next to “Good To Be King” I’ve been getting a bunch of requests to record this one so TA-DAH! And because I’m a D&D nerd, this song fits the BBG of the campaign I’m running so we themed it to him for this hahaha! This one was a fun song to work on just because of it leaning more rock than theater, and playing with vowels to achieve that powerful sound was a blast! And I want to give a MASSIVE thank you to Sedge for the BEAUTIFUL Fenris art!! You are seriously so talented and I’m super grateful for all your hard work in drawing our edgy boy! I hope you all enjoy and thanks for watching! Story TLDR: Fenris is the first-born son of The King of Falkor. With all of the kingdoms being of draconic lineage, each dragon-descendent ruler passes on The Heart Of The Dragon to their heir (as shown in video!) However, there has been much protest against the rule of the dragon families as a rebellion formed. Fenris, agreeing with their views, joined the rebellion. After finding himself cursed by trying to gain knowledge from an undead king, and following the death of his partner by the Kingdoms, he went down a darker path. Burning the Kingdom of Falkor to the ground and killing his father and the other royals in his castle, he is now on a quest to revive the undead king and restore the continent of Aladondría to its “former glory.” But the question remains. Is he a monster for simply wanting a system that supports the people and doing whatever it takes to achieve that? Or is he simply the son of a king?
