This was the first Secret of Mana song I fell in love with after "Into the Thick of It", as I heard "A Wish" before I had beaten or gotten very far in the game. I actually only beat Secret of Mana recently. I was grieving at the time (I still am) and that part of the game was extremely healing and therapeutic for me. I wanted to express the emotions the game (especially the snowy parts) made me feel through this remix. I added a few instruments to my cover, but I tried my best to preserve the tender quietness present in the original track. The OST of SOM was composed by Hiroki Kikuta. I did this arrangement mainly by ear/from scratch.
