Trains Passing In Opposite Directions Over Railroad Diamonds, Locomotives Working Hard With Steel Coils Train Slamming The Diamonds. Coal Train Passes & Immediately Another Train Comes Around The Curve In The Other Direction. CSX Geometry Train Crosses The Diamonds. Norfolk Southern & CSX Trains In Fostoria, Ohio At The Iron Triangle. I returned to Fostoria, Ohio for the first time in a few years. I got enough trains for two videos so there will be a Part 2. The first train is an eastbound train going over the railroad diamonds by the Tower. There is a train sitting in the background waiting to go north. While the eastbound train is passing another train shows up going west. Two trains passing over the diamonds! Is that cool or what? The next train is a westbound Norfolk Southern steel coils train. Listen to the classic locomotives working hard! Can you believe that an SD40-2 and a GP38-2 can pull a train this heavy? There was also a boxcar in the middle of the train. After it passes we take a close look at a historic railroad crossing signal. The Town Street railroad crossing with the old signal is going to be closed and a multi million dollar grade separation project will take place within the next 3 to 5 years. After that we see a huge southbound CSX coal train. The train is slamming both sets of diamonds. Right after it passes me another CSX train shows up. This train is coming around the connecting track running east and then taking the northbound track towards Toledo. That train was incredibly long. I hope someone counts the cars. It seemed like it was on a continuous loop. How long do you think that thing was? We also see the caboose on display after that train passes. The final train is a northbound CSX geometry train. This train has a couple of passenger cars and is inspecting the track. You can see people sitting in the back of the train looking out the window at the track.
