#eurorack #synthwave #electronicmusic #synth This track is a love letter to the tape and micro sound machine by Make Noise and Soundhack MORPHAGENE. I think this is the module that really pulled me into the modular synthesis world of eurorack. The only quirk it has, is that sometimes it can be slightly noisy, producing a sound almost as if sucking micro water droplets through a straw. Compared for example to the Miso Cornflakes which is super silent and has pristine audio quality. However, there is something immediately magical about the Morphagene. Ithink it is highlighted nicely in this track, the way it grabs the melodic lines of the Moog Mother 32 and immediately transforms them into a magical drone layer that cradles the sound in the most beautiful way. Ghostly, spectral drones like ecstatic tears of Naiads, creating interweaving snakes of liquid movement. Then the rhytmic bass pattern of the second oscillator kcicks in, and we are fully ready to embark upon this journey.
