Buy Now: https://goo.gl/PY1PL2 Welcome to ProGuitarShop and ToneReport.com, we're getting a look at the Equilibrium DLX from Alexander Pedals. The DLX marks a total overhaul of Alexander's original Equilibrium platform, where everything has been reworked from the ground up, resulting in a much more flexible tremolo experience without gaining an inch in size. The Tremolo, Harmonic Tremolo and Vibrato modes have been carried over from the original, and sound just as old school as ever. Tremolo mode works like a bias tremolo from the earliest trem-equipped amplifiers. Harmonic mode recalls the sound of classic early '60s piggyback amps and the Mix control is much more pronounced. Vibrato mode takes a page from '50s amps like Buddy Holly used to play, and sounds like a photocell vibe or primitive phase shifter. The DLX contains twice as many waveforms as its predecessor, available by twisting the Shape knob. The Shape control of the Equilibrium DLX allows players to dial in a classic sine wave tremolo, as well as square wave choppiness and both up and down ramping. A new Tap footswitch lets you dial in the tempo without bending over, while pressing and holding the Tap switch cycles through normal and double speed subdivisions to shake up a jam session hands-free. To correct any volume loss, a Level control is adjustable by holding down the bypass footswitch. This control stays put even when the pedal is disconnected from power. And just like all Alexander Pedals, the Equilibrium is done good right here in the states.
