Amid the ongoing violence in West Bengal ahead of the panchayat elections, a BJP candidate's brother-in-law was hacked to death in Cooch Behar’s Dinhata. The deceased, identified as Sambhu Das, was called by some miscreants late last night who stabbed him to death, his family claimed. Sambhu Das's sister-in-law, Visakha Das, is a candidate from Kismat Dasgram. The body of the deceased was recovered by the police from a riverside.
