1997 RIAT Fairford Airshow (part 1)

Arrivals days for the great Royal International Air Tattoo. Filmed from the arrivals enclosure. The 90s yet again was marvelous for the Russians, Ukrainians, and everything eastern bloc. This is in 2 parts as I did the Wednesday 16th, Thursday 17th, Friday 18th, Saturday 19th, and Monday 21st departures. A knackering few days also taking Kodachrome slides with my SLR camera at the same time, this is supposed to be a hobby!! But this is the price you pay for the shows of the 90s. I would also like to mention my great colleagues in crime, Colin C, Keith B, Michael T, John H, Albert (Vincent)...why Albert?, and Alan (they know who they are) for their company, fun, and laughter under extremely noisy circumstances! Ladders, chairs, and winter clothing at points. Great times! All these videos are dedicated to my dear late father, who is my inspiration in everything and lit my fire for Aviation.
