Make you Kreg K4 pocket hole jig even better with a BESSEY toggle clamp. I ordered an adapter plate from Peachtree Woodworking Supply for around $11. In this video I show you how to install your BESSEY STC-IHH25 toggle clamp on the adapter plate and use it with your Kreg K4 jig. Let me know if you have any questions about this video. Thanks for watching. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - For this video I’m going to upgrade my Kreg k4 pocket hole jig. Today we are going to add a BESSEY inline toggle clamp to it with the auto adjust technology. Now along with the K4 and BESSEY google clamp you’ll need a Phillips head screwdriver and with a little....that includes the plate that attaches to your K4 jig, a large pad for mounting on your toggle, and all the necessary mounting hardware. After I swapped the pads I removed the toggle clamp off the K4 and added the plate from the adapter kit. I’m going to use the mounting hardware that’s already on the K4 to attached the plate. The nuts fit the recessed area a lot better than the hardware I relieved. I left some play in the toggle clamp so I could get the clamp pad square to the material. I used a scrap piece of 2x4 and with minimal pressure, secured it, and then tightened all 4 screws. Right now I’m just tweaking the clamp for my personal preference. With this set up I can use this with (3/4)” material all the way up to 5/4 material without having to adjust anything but I am unable to throw pocket holes into a 2x4 because this toggle clamp can only adjust up to (5/8)”. Meaning the range of my K4 with this clamp is between (3/4)” and an 1-(1/4)”. I should mention that the plate does block the use of the depth collar setup too. I personally don’t use that so it doesn’t bother me. Well that about does it for this video. If you have any questions or comments please leave those below.
