Our first destination for Big Haul 2025 is City of Rocks State Park in New Mexico! This is a wonderful park and campground that is remote, scenic and beautiful. Located about 1.5 hours from Las Cruses and 30 minutes north of Deming along I-10. The main campground sites situated along the rock formations have no electric or water hookups so if you plan to dry camp here be prepared. They do offer a modern electric & water campground as well. This video covers our drive here and the first evening of our visit.
