Here's the first entry in our new video series, 'Details in the Detail' - where we take a closer look at the details of paintings on display and the fascinating stories behind them. This film explores Mary Beale's Self Portrait (In Little). Painted at the height of her career, the portrait gives us fascinating insights into the 17th century artist's practice.
