This otherworldly forest has been the inspiration for numerous fantasy tales and served as a filming location for movies and TV shows. TWO. Water spirits, Llyn Barfog, Gwynedd Britain is Llyn Barfog, located in a remote spot in the hills above the Dyfi estuary on the boundary between Gwynedd and Ceredigion. Legends claim that Llyn Barfog was once the residence of the Afanc, a water monster that ravaged the region, damaging livestock until King Arthur ultimately rode off it. ONE. A place of healing, Menacuddle Well, Cornwall Menacuddle Well is situated among ornamental gardens adjacent to a river and a waterfall on the outskirts of St Austell in Cornwall. The holy well was constructed in the 15th century and restored by Admiral Sir Charles John Graves-Sawle in memory of his son killed during the First World War.
