Everesting was BY FAR the hardest physical thing I've ever done. Let me tell you about my experience and share a little guide should you want to do it in the future! My name is Adam, I am 35 years old and I am a former marathon runner who shifted his focus on ZWIFT CYCLING. Full Everesting rules: https://everesting.cc/the-rules/ Full vEveresting rules: https://everesting.cc/virtual-everest... Road to A is a channel focused on INDOOR ZWIFT RACING with the ultimate goal of reaching the A+ CATEGORY. Is it progression realistic? Maybe. I'll need to train a lot and lose a lot of weight, too. However, I believe the BIGGEST LIMITATIONS riders (and athletes in general) have are those they put on themselves and this channel is my way to prove that idea. If you feel like you are riding (or living) BENEATH YOUR POTENTIAL, you need to tag along! The destination is clear but the journey won't be easy. Currently I am racing in B CATEGORY. SUBSCRIBE because it makes me happy :) : / @roadtoa As for my ZWIFT SETUP - I am riding on a ZWIFT HUB ONE indoor trainer. Steering can give you pretty substantial advantage during the racing and for that I am using the ZWIFT PLAY controllers. I use these for virtual shifting as well and to make sure I'll be covered if they run out of battery or generally stopped working, I've got the ZWIFT CLICK as well. I am running my Zwift in 4K and using the ULTRA settings. #RoadToA Chapters: 00:00 I did it! 00:16 What is Everesting? 00:39 History of the challenge 01:21 Indoor vs. Outdoor 02:19 Rules of Everesting 04:41 How to choose the climb? 06:37 Training 07:38 Consider the conditions 08:20 Equipment 10:08 Mental Preparation 12:14 Nutrition & Hydration 13:57 Pacing 15:44 Support Crew 16:42 My Stats 17:34 My Experience 18:45 Would I do it again? 19:40 Upload your results 20:16 Grey Striped Jersey 20:43 Conclussion
