For advertising – Please mail at [email protected] DELHI: LIVE IN PARTNER MURDER BRUTAL AND SENSATIONAL MURDER CASE OF AN UPSC ASPIRANT, SOLVED BY THE TEAM OF PS TIMARPUR, NORTH DISTRICT, DELHI   THREE ACCUSED PERSONS INCLUDING A WOMAN WHO WAS STUDENT OF B.SC. FORENSIC SCIENCE ARRESTED. AFTER STRANGULATING THE DECEASED, THE ACCUSED CREATED SCENE OF FIRE INCIDENT SOME BELONGINGS OF DECEASED AND TWO MOBILE PHONES OF ACCUSED PERSONS RECOVERED.   With the arrest of three accused persons namely (1) Amrita Chauhan, aged 21 years, (2) Sumit Kashyap aged 27 years and (3) Sandeep Kumar aged 29 years, all resident of Moradabad, UP, the team of PS Timarpur, North District has solved a brutal and sensational murder case of a UPSC aspirant with the help of technical surveillance and local intelligence. Some belongings of the deceased and two mobile phones of accused persons recovered.   INCIDENT: On 06.10.2025, an information regarding fire incident at 4thFloor, E-60, Gandhi Vihar, Delhi was received at PS Timarpur. The local police rushed the spot. The fire tenders also reached the spot and fire was extinguished. Thereafter, crime team and FSL team was called at the spot and inspection was conducted. One deeply burned dead body was found on the spot which was shifted in the Mortuary of Hindu Rao Hospital. The deceased was identified as Ram Kesh Meena, r/o 4th Floor E-60 Gandhi Vihar, Delhi, age 32 years. Subsequently, a case vide FIR No. 467/25 u/s 287/106(1) BNS was registered and the investigation was taken up accordingly.   During investigation, CCTV footage was collected and analyzed in which, on the intervening night of 05-06.10.2025, two persons with muffled face were seen entering the building E-60 Gandhi Vihar, Delhi and after 39 minutes, one person was seen coming out from the building. Further, at about 02:57 AM, one girl later on identified as Amrita Chauhan, D/o RajveerSingh r/o Peetal Nagri, Moradabad UP along-with a person was seen coming out of the building. This fire incident took place just after the departure of these persons. The family of the deceased also raised suspicions over the incident.   During further investigation, CDR of Amrita was collected and analyzed and it was revealed that at the time of incident,location of her mobile phone was found near E-Block Gandhi Vihar, Delhi which roused suspicion on her in the death of the deceased. Thereafter Sec 326(g)(f)/103(1)/3(5) BNS were invoked in above said case and further investigation was taken up by Inspr. Pankaj Tomar (Inspr. L&O, PS Timar Pur).     TEAM, INVESTIGATION & OPERATION: In view of the sensitivity of the case, a team led by Inspr. Pankaj Tomar, (Inspr. Law & Order), comprising of SI Deepak Sharma, SI Mohit Ujjwal, HC Rahul, HC Ramroop, HC Tinku  Yadav, Ct Manoj and W/Ct Rajni was constituted to nab the culprits, under the supervision of Inspr. Praveen Kumar, SHO/PS Timarpur and guidance of Shri Shashikant Gaur, ACP/Sub-Division, Burari, Delhi   During further investigation, mobile phone of suspect Amrita Chauhan was found switched off. Thereafter, multiple raids were conducted at all possible whereabouts in Moradabad,UP. Finally, on 18.10.2025 Amrita was apprehended. She was thoroughly interrogated in which, she confessed about the commission of crime with co-accused namely Sumit Kashyap(her ex-boyfriend) and Sandeep Kumar. She alleged that the deceased had one Hard Disc containing her obscene videos and images.   At the instance of Amrita Chauhan, one Hard Disc, one trolley bag and shirt of deceased was recovered. On 21.10.2025,accused Sumit Kashyap was apprehended from Muradabad and his mobile phone which was used during commission of offence was recovered.
