Hey everyone and here's the Vosun Kisa review. I know there are newer versions of this yoyo, but i don't think there's much difference aside from colors. I bought this used and was glad that it came near mint and in original packaging. The very first look is...just look at that rim extension. I know there are others that have rims that go out further, but it's probably my first bimetal that has their rim like this. Before my first throw, I already felt that this will be rim heavy, and was I right. This yoyo actually still has some bounce to it, but I'll explain in a little bit. First impression is "powerful". I guess there's some similarities to the prototype I reviewed last year, Dragon fang. But I think this one is a little lighter. The body weight of the yoyo isn't heavy at all, but the way it performs makes it feel heavy. All string hits feel intentional and certain. And that rim, it cut into the same spot on my right hand on 3 different occasions! It cut in deep enough to draw blood, so be careful with this. 😅 Like all yoyos, there's always pros and cons. All modern yoyos I've tried out still have more pros than cons. The biggest issue for me about the Kisa is....the string gap. Everywhere posts that it has a 4.6mm string gap and I can definitely tell you that it plays like it has a 4.3mm(measured at 4.3mm). Not really much difference but it definitely is noticeable when you start doing tricks that have a lot of string wraps on that bearing. Overall the Kisa plays very different than all my other yoyos. It's definitely a solid throw. Has similar power when landing tricks like the Dragonfang and MYY Katana, but has a little bit more bounce to it. it has been a good yoyo that I use when trying to develop new tricks because of that extra rim weight distribution. The Kisa feels like it has a 65R/35C (R=Rim, C=Center) weight distribution giving it a very floaty feel even when riding on a string. The rounded mound in the center of the cup make it very stable and slightly bouncy. Keep in mind when you combine all those factors is what gives it that power. So seeing that this yoyo sells for $80 brand new...I don't know if that's a price I would pay the performance. Don't get me wrong, it's a great yoyo, it just doesn't really match my playing style currently, but it's still a powerful throw. Don't forget to leave a comment and let me know what you think or suggest a yoyo for me to review. LIKE, and SUBSCRIBE! Remember that I am not sponsored and I will always review what yoyos I have purchased and is in the backlog. I try to cover a much various different brands, even brands not commonly found in the USA.
