The Toxic Avenger (1984)- Basement Chase Scene- Remixed/Remastered

I remixed and remastered the music for two scenes in "The Toxic Avenger": The Basement Chase and the Transformation, both of which I scored back in 1983 and which are presented here as two separate videos. There's a lot I could say about working on this film. Briefly, I had written four cues in all, but these were the only two to make it into the final cut. If you listen very closely, around the shot of Julie (white headband) running down the stairs, you can hear the sound of a radio cab which my not very well-shielded recording gear sometimes picked up from the BQE (Brooklyn-Queens Expressway for non-NYers) which was about 400 feet from my Red Hook, Brooklyn apartment window. This time it got on a keeper take. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I remember Lloyd Kaufman asking "what is that sound?" I managed to convince him that he was hearing things. Sorry Lloyd!
