Walt Disney World May 2019 | Ep 2 | Magic Kingdom | Damn You Space Mountain!

Welcome to our vlog series! We're a couple from London who love a bit of Disney and in May 2019 we spent 6 nights at the home of Mickey Mouse and friends in Walt Disney World, flying with Thomas Cook Airlines in their Premium Cabin from London Gatwick [LGW] to Orlando MCO! Hurrah and be warned that there are a couple of instances of some mild bad language that may not be suitable for the youngest of ears. We start with a hearty breakfast at our favourite, Bob Evans! We love Bob Evans!! We’ll show you the tasty breakfast menu. We both opt for a savoury and sweet combination – something from the fry-up options and something from the pancake choices, and David shows off his pancake technique! Deeeeee-licious – we thoroughly recommend it!   And then it’s time to head to The Magic Kingdom. It’s a gloriously sunny Memorial Day Weekend and it’s so good to be back! BUT it is busy! After glimpsing The Castle we cut through the Emporium and see what merch is on offer. There’s plenty of Pride and July 4th themed content.   Seeing the Partner Statue and Castle with such a blue sky was wonderful! (But it’s also great when it’s cloudy too!) We head to Tomorrowland and take a leisurely ride on the Peoplemover. It’s always a fun tour of the park – and it always takes longer than you’d think. You can see the Tron Rollercoaster construction – which is coming on leaps and bounds.   Then it’s time for a first for us. Space Mountain. Oh no. The fear is real – as are the screams. Apologies.   Tick!   Now it’s time for some food and a drink – so time for Starlight Café – and not the eggy water from the drinking fountain. One chicken nuggets and chips later and we hear to the re-opened Tomorrowland Speedway aka Diving Miss Daisy 2.0 Tooot toot!   Some more shopping , this time in Star Traders. We spy more dioramas – check out our trip to EPCOT at Christmas where we discover them for the first time – and youll see why we love them so much:    • WDW Christmas 2018 | Ep 11 | Meeting Ralph...      On the way to Big Thunder Mountain we wander passed the Tangled Toilets, and we go looking for the hidden Pascals. We’ve never seen any – but that changes today! How many do we spot? Come and see, but it’s more than one! We were beyond excited! If you know where there are more please comment below, as we’d love to track them down next time we go.   As if that wasn’t wildlife fun, we get dive-bombed by a heron as the Liberty Belle toots its horn, and then rubbed by one of the bears from the Jamboree! More firsts!   Our first daytime trip on Big Thunder Mountain wraps up this vlog.
