Nordik Fire "Are We Alone" featuring Marilyn Garrett

As I was browsing through my Facebook news feed, I caught a glimpse of the most emotionally charged image I had ever seen. Right away, one of the songs that I had previously written, "Are We Alone?," began playing in my head as the soundtrack to what my eyes were taking in. I clicked on the image. It brought me into Marilyn Garrett's world of art. What I saw was art that HAD to be married to my song. It was as if Marilyn and I had a connection, even though we had never met. After I managed to get out of my artful trance and back to reality, I messaged her that we had to collaborate. I sent my song to her, along with the idea that her artwork could be featured in a video, while my song created the soundtrack and set the mood. She wrote right back, and thus the start of a fabulous collaboration - video and, most of all, a special friendship. The video starts by showcasing the art that initially caught my eye, and then continues by featuring the genius at work creating two new original pictures inspired by my song "Are We Alone?," and created just for the video!
