Rowena's family owned Pitchford Hall in Shropshire, England, for centuries, but when her parents hit financial difficulties in the 1990s they were forced to sell up. The house, one of the finest timber-framed Tudor buildings in existence, lay empty and unloved for 25 years before Rowena and her husband James pieced together the money to buy it back. Here they give us an exclusive tour of this wonderful building and surrounding estate, including what is possibly the oldest treehouse in the world.
