Colt Creek State Park | Our Visit to this Campground Just Outside of Lakeland Florida

Colt Creek State Park This is our first time visiting this amazing state park. We didn’t know what to expect coming in to it either. There just wasn’t a whole lot of information available on the internet. And there’s a good reason for that lack of information. This is a pretty new park. Purchased in 2006, this is the 160th state park in Florida. Here’s the good news, that means that all the amenities are some of the newest in the state. Welcome to the best kept secret of Florida. Located just outside the city of Lakeland, an hour southwest of Disneyland in Orlando, this park is prime parking for vacations that want to go to Disneyland without dealing with all the Disney traffic and local hotel pricing. Plus the scenery is amazing and beautiful. Whether you are planning to use a tent or an RV to stay the night, both locations are clean and spacious. You will have access to water and restrooms. And the RV section has showers and washer and dryer. Plus there’s plenty of access to a variety of trails, boating, fishing, and equestrian activities. If you have a favorite outdoor activity, you’re more likely than not going to be able to do it here. We wanted to let everyone know that we are able to make these videos so well due to the use of a DJI Osmo stabilizer. And it was edited using Adobe Premier Pro on an HP Spectre laptop. We’ve provided links below to anyone interested in getting the Osmo or computer for themselves. These are great tools to help make any video better.
