Ever since the new level cap was introduced with the new DLC, it gave us more reasons to play the game to a higher difficulty. They even added 2 new OP levels. Now unfortunately gearbox being gearbox introduced new artificial challenge unintentionally by making both Voracidous and Hyperius use an older health and shield scaling and as such made them have more health then normal. This did make them more annoying to fight and made them not as fun to fight (even with glitches). Now fortunately It was shown before by a few people in the community that if you bring in fodder into the arena you can kill them real quick. Explanation of the kill Step 0: Using a lady fist shoot off both arms of the gun loader, pwr loader and jnk loader from the 3 rooms around hyperius arena, using melee, force them close to hyperius gate and then use a singularity grenade to get them in the arean and deaggro. Step 0.5: Using grog and melee to aggro individual loader and then force them to back pedal to a location closer to hyperius (one thing to note is keep each loader one jump away from each other for optimal placement. Step 1: Using grog and low level infection to stack both bloodlust and elemental elation, once at max stacks, use a fastball to weaken them and then melee for ftb. (Remember to have both legendary reaper and a BOA with launcher ammo equiped) Step 2: Switch to slag pimpernal to slag first bot, switch to javelin (slag etech bonus launcher) and equip legendary psycho, shoot javelin at bot and chuck. Step 2.5: While reload midflight, switch to flesh crunch com and explosive relic and to a carnage, down yourself to get bonus to strip the flesh, if done right you will come back up instantly due to javelin chuck killing the bot Step 3: Switch to diesel blister and to slag pimp and the slag hyperius just as the second bot explodes (both bots should of been slagged by the etech orb you shot out in step 2) Step 4: Watch Hyperius collapse into nothingness and hope for a cool drop. One side effect is even if Hyperius dies, he still spawns his minnions, so you will have to leave arena and come back if you find them downing you while looking at loot. If you are comfortable and patient with bringing bots into the arena, this can be used to farm. There are of course faster glitchy ways too.
