In the second round of THE PLAYERS Championship 2025, Collin Morikawa carded a 7-under 65 to improve to 9-under par and sit two shots off the lead. This is the third time the PGA TOUR will co-sanction the event with the DP World Tour. Joel Dahmen is in the field this week. He’s made eight cuts in a row since missing out at the Valero Texas Open and has confidence from his T11 finish at the RBC Canadian Open at the start of June. PGA TOUR University’s reigning No. 1 Michael Thorbjornsen is back in action after finishing T2 last week at the John Deere Classic. He also finished T37 at the Travelers Championship three weeks ago. C.T. Pan also tees it up in Kentucky this week. He claimed T2 last week at TPC Deere Run, which earned him a spot in The Open Championship. His T3 finish at the Mexico Open in Vidanta also gives him confidence entering this week. Others to look out for include Kevin Kisner, Camillo Villegas and Luke Clanton.
