Receiving my New 1200hp 9 Second Truck // Crazy FAST

Growing up, my dad owned a 1970's Ford 150 which he called the "Green Machine". The truck was purchased brand new off of the showroom floor by my godfather and his soon to be father-in-law, Joe Garcia. Well the love of my dads life and his fiancé ended up splitting, but Joe and my dad remained extremely close. They were so close that, even after he married my mom and I came along, we would go see Joe all the time. Joe was a really cool godfather, because this dude always had bodyguards, which as a kid never maid sense to me, but later on in life I found out why he had bodyguards all the time. A story for another day... 😅 Anyways, I search for years trying to find my dads truck that he sold when I was a teenager. I never could locate it. Well the Ford F150 was a single cab truck without A/C and it was the best. We use to go "cruising" around Miami in it and just spend time together; him and I. My dad passed away several years back now and I wanted to get something that reminded me of my childhood and him. Something I could drive around with my kids and relive the experience of cruising. In typical Bertini fashion, I couldn't get something that wasn't wild with lots of horsepower, so I started searching for a 9 second 1200 horsepower Ford F150. The universe delivered me just that. This Ford F150 build series is going to be a wild one! I plan on turning this 9 second 1/4 mile truck into a street beast. The goal is for it to have all the "bells and whistles", while still being able to run 9 seconds in the quarter mile. I'm super excited about this one because it gets me emotional thinking about my dad. Looking forward to all of the memories this truck is going to bring back for me, and getting to share those with my kids.
