Month of july has Started and there's heavy rainfall in goa. hog plum locally known as ambade is sour fruit which mostly grows during this season. i had some tender hog plums which i had plucked from my relatives place so i thought of making this recipe. hog plum is a healthy fruit because it is rich is vitamin c, calcium, iron and very high in fiber. this recipe is very simple, you only have to prepare brine..so now what is brine?
