It can feel strange at first, as does everything, but through repetition comes familiarity. . ...The fool proof method I discovered for this was to use three separate colours to start so you can clearly see the order the strands need to be in. After a while you'll start to notice a pattern developing & I'm not talking about how the cord looks, I'm talking about the repetitive two step process involved in making the cord. . ...I'd Love to see some more of you having a bash at this & I'd be absolutely stoked if @nwprimate made himself a three ply natural cord to make his bow fully primitive when he slocks his first deer. I know he likes to use only local sourced materials, if at all possible, so I'm thinking maybe a three ply nettle string might work especially if you used retted fibres then waxed it well after.
