Before I graduate to double turn Eagle kites, I take old #50 out once more for a spin! Panying kites require a good deal of skill, practice and patience. I am very much a novice, but eventually hope to hold my own with those fliers who are adept at this hobby, or should I say art form. While hugely popular in the Orient, plate eagle flying is virtually unknown in the States. Why? It does not have the instant gratification people want in the electronic age. You actually have to work at it, get frustrated, try again and not give up, just as you would learning a Revolution 4-line kite. Many people would just skip to the give up part and hang the eagle kite on a nail. Just sayin' ...and they all are boutique kites made in China by skilled artisans.
