First Toronto Raptors Arrive Home at Toronto Pearson Airport as 2019 NBA Champions!

WE THE NORTH?! More like WE THE CHAMPIONS!!! June 13, 2019 was a day that will always go down in the Toronto history books as our iconic Raptors have finally won the NBA Championship that night after a long wait of 25 years. As soon as final buzzer went off, fans all over Canada (yes, CANADA!) went absolutely crazy. And the party still continues two days later, as hundreds of Toronto Raptors fans gathered close to the Toronto Pearson Airport fenceline along Derry Road to witness some of team touching Canadian soil for the first time as champions. The Raptors that flew in on this Delta Boeing 757 are: Fred VanFleet, Danny Green, Pascal Siakam, Marc Gasol, Jeremy Lin and head coach Nick Nurse. The rest of the team flew in the next day. A massive congratulations goes out to our amazing Toronto Raptors on an incredible victory against the Golden State Warriors, and I am really looking forward to the upcoming season.
