Montgomery Clift - the early years. From his childhood, he started out as a model and then went on to the stage to act. Eventually, Monty became a Broadway sensation in the mid 1930s through the mid 40s. Then Hollywood called and he got his first movie role starring opposite John Wayne, no less! From there he went on to star or co-star in several great films, including 'A Place in the Sun', with the equally stunningly beautiful Elizabeth Taylor in 1950.
