In this video, I’m testing Qidi’s PPA-based engineering-grade filaments: PAHT-GF, PAHT-CF, and the high-performance UltraPA-CF25. These materials are built for demanding applications—featuring glass or carbon fiber reinforcement, high temperature resistance, and excellent mechanical properties. But how do they actually perform? Product links (affiliate): PAHT-GF: https://shrsl.com/4vhl9 PAHT-CF: https://shrsl.com/4vhlb UltraPA-CF25: https://shrsl.com/4vhl7 I'll walk you through the full process—from unboxing and microscope inspection to printing and testing. I also talk briefly about annealing, although I didn’t perform it in this video. The prints then go through my standard set of mechanical tests: tensile strength, layer adhesion, shear, twist, bending, impact, creep, and temperature resistance. I also tested the layer adhesion with objects printed on 320°C. Whether you're curious about high-temp nylon filaments or looking for strong, functional parts for real-world use cases, this video gives you all the details you need. If you found this video helpful, consider liking and subscribing to support the channel—there’s always more filament testing and practical insights on the way. And a big thanks to my Patreon supporters! They get early access to some videos and a summary spreadsheet with all my earlier test results for easy comparison. / mytechfun 📌 Chapters 0:00 Introduction 1:48 Specifications 3:33 About annealing 4:15 Unboxing 5:00 Under microscope 5:32 Preparing for printing 5:56 Specifications 6:06 3D printing 7:21 Practical application example 7:55 Tensile test 8:21 Layer adhesion 10:15 Shear test 10:42 Twist test 11:09 Bending test 11:44 Impact test 12:18 Creep test 13:23 Temperature test 14:17 All results 14:37 Conclusions #3dprinting #qidi #ppacf #qiditech #qidiplus4
