Aldeia do Cachopo, the other side of the Algarve Cachopo is a beautiful village and parish in the municipality of Tavira, in Portugal, with around 470 inhabitants, located in Serra do Caldeirão, and is considered the most typical village in the Northeast Algarve, characterized by its popular architecture with white houses adorned with colorful bars, and with the typical Algarve chimney. The local economy maintains its rural tradition, producing typical products of this mountainous region, based on rainfed agriculture, livestock, cork production, beekeeping with the production of honey, as well as the famous medronho brandy.
