NNPA JOINS WC/ NNPGS TO WORK TOGETHER FOR NAGA UNITY

In an important step for Naga unity, the Naga National Political Alliance (NNPA) has officially joined with the Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs). Now, both groups will work together under the name NNPGs. Leaders from both sides signed an agreement and promised to follow the “Agreed Position” they had made earlier with the Government of India. They said it is time to stop fighting between groups and focus on peace and unity for the Naga people. NSCN (R) president Akato Chophy said, “We must think about the future of all Nagas, not just our own groups.” NNPA was formed on April 12, 2024. Its members include NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Vusshe), NSCN/GPRN (Akato), NPGN/NNC (MK), and UGN/NNC (P/B).
