How to Tie the LASSO (Honda) Knot

The Honda knot is the hitch knot more commonly known as a lasso. This is a knot that we can easily make a mistake in its classification because we typically focus on it being the shape of a loop at the end of a rope. The Honda knot is not a Loop knot by classification but a Hitch knot, because of two specific traits. The first is that the Honda knot is adjustable, and it will change shape when it is removed from an object. Whereas a Loop Knot is always non-adjustable.The second trait is that it is used to attach a rope to an object. In this case, the object could be around an animal.
