Meg & Simey's Road to Badminton Demo!!

This one is a bit of a special video. Recently Simon and I hosted a live lecture demo called “Meg & Simey’s Road To Badminton”, where we took the audience through exactly how we’re training our horses ahead of Badminton Grassroots for me and Badminton 5 for Simon*. For the demo we each brought three horses at different stages, so we could show the full journey and what it actually takes to produce horses towards a goal like Badminton. From younger horses learning the basics, to more experienced horses refining the details, it was a really fun way to break down the process and talk through the training behind the scenes. Throughout the evening we worked through exercises, explained why we use them, and talked about the challenges that come with preparing horses for such a big event. It was also brilliant to share the arena with such an engaged crowd who were just as excited about the journey as we are.
