The medical community has said: Everyone should be their own physician. And they should know the nature and benefits of the remedies and foods they use. So that their body remains healthy. Drinking cold water before eating extinguishes the heat of the stomach. Drinking water after eating heats the stomach and warms the body. One should avoid drinking water after eating fruits such as apples, apricots, and grapes. Because water on them corrupts the stomach. If one wants to drink water, one should drink it one or two hours later. This has less harm. One should not drink cold water after eating hot rice or hot desserts (such as halva). Because this damages the teeth. If one wants water, one should drink it after eating a few bites of bread, this has less harm. A person should not eat everywhere they come across. There should be a certain meal time. If one eats even a little at a time, this will upset the stomach and weaken it because it will have eaten without being digested first. The elders have said: Four things are praised only when their end is clear: 1- After food is digested, 2- After returning from war, 3- After the crop grows, 4- After a woman dies, Eating fresh walnuts on a full stomach causes indigestion, Eating red mulberries on an empty stomach does not harm, eating them on a full stomach makes you sick. Eating too much dates, raisins and other sweets damages the gums and damages the teeth. Eating too much salt harms the eyes. Eating too much onion increases phlegm and causes vision blackening. A sufficient amount of fatty foods should be eaten. It is beneficial for the mind. A sufficient amount of sweets increases hilm, a sufficient amount of lentils gives tenderness to the heart and thins the blood, too much is harmful. Pumpkin also strengthens the mind. Hazrat Ali (ra) said: ''Allah Almighty cleanses the one who starts and ends a meal with salt from seventy different diseases. If he eats twenty-one red grapes (dry) in the mornings for seven days, there will be nothing left in his body that he does not like.'' A pleasant scent strengthens the mind and strengthens the eyes. However, excessive use is disliked. Scents other than camphor and rose water cause dryness. Excessive joy is more severe than sadness in terms of causing a person to collapse. Because joy is cold in nature, and it destroys more quickly than heat. However, sadness is naturally hot. Because it is produced from the liver. The liver is hot. If this heat in the body did not go away, people would not be mortal. GRATITUDE. ''O people of faith! Eat of the good things We have provided you with and be grateful to Allah for that blessing. If you worship Allah, you are performing your servitude.'' he says. (Quran/Surah Al-Baqarah/172) Allah Almighty has made it permissible for people to eat from the sustenances that exist on earth. And He has especially commanded the believers to seek out the Tayyib of sustenances and to be plentiful with it and to benefit from it. According to the statement of Fakhr-i Razi, there are four rules regarding eating food: 1- If he eats to save his soul from death, it is ''fard''. 2- If he eats to protect his soul from harm such as weakness, it is ''wajib''. 3- If he eats with a guest so that the guest will not be ashamed, it is ''mandub''. 4- If he eats safe and clear of these, it is ''mubah''. In order to indicate that worshipping Allah Almighty is only complete with gratitude, He has said, ''If you are worshippers, give thanks to Allah Almighty.'' There are three parts of gratitude. 1- It is gratitude with the heart, which is knowing the true bestower of blessings. 2- It is gratitude with the tongue, which is showing the knowledge of the True Bestower in the heart with the tongue and praising and glorifying the favor of the True Provider. 3- It is gratitude with the limbs. It is also stated in the Sura al-Baqarah: "O people! Eat of the blessings created for you on earth, lawful and good, and do not follow the whispers of Satan while you are earning your sustenance. Satan is a clear enemy to you." (Quran/Surah al-Baqarah/168) Satan drives man to his desires and whims by making the lawful unlawful and the unlawful lawful, and deceives him by making the falsehood seem true. ''Hutuvetishshaytan'' and Murad; It is the trap set by Satan to deceive man with his whispers and intrigues. ''He only commands you to do evil and indecency and to say about Allah that which you do not know.'' (Quran/Surah Al-Baqarah/169)
