The control method is Modbus TCP which communicates to an S7-1500 PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) The sample code is programmed with Siemens TiA Portal V14 software. The TiA Portal V14 project makes use of the Festo FHPP (V4.3) Motion library which is made up of various FB‘s(Function Blocks) used to control the Festo motor controller.
