SMDV Products and Accessories available at Vistek: https://www.vistek.ca/search/-SMDV/sm... Setup Instructions: 1. Remove the flash head, standard reflector and interchangeable battery from the carrying case. 2. After removing the protective bulb cover, insert the reflector, then rotate it to snap it into place. Use the dial above to lock the reflector onto to the flash head. 3. Slide the battery into place on top of the flash head. 4. The flash head contains a removable handle that can be handheld, or mounted directly onto a light stand. To mount it on a stand, secure the handle onto it using the handle's bottom knob. 5. If flash head is removed from the handle, it can be re-attached by aligning the 1/4-20 insert found on the bottom of the flash head with the screw atop the handle, and tightened using the dial on the handle. 6. Loosen the central knob on the handle to enable the flash head to tilt up and down. 7. On the back of the flash head is an LED display panel for adjusting various settings, such as level of brightness, for instance. 8. If necessary, remove the battery by holding the battery lock switch in its unlocked position and sliding the battery out. 9. After inserting a battery, press the battery check button on the battery to display charge level. 10. If mounting other accessories onto the flash head, remove the reflector by using the dial (from step two) to unlock it from the flash, then twist and pull the reflector off. 11. To mount the optional SMDV Speedbox 70, insert it the same way as you would the reflector (remember to lock it using the dial), then align the metal rods with the grooves found along the Speedbox ring. 12. To collapse the umbrella, squeeze the buttons found behind the Speedbox ring. Remove it the same way that you would with the reflector. 13. Using the LED panel, switch between Canon and Nikon modes as required. Compatible with optional SMDV Nikon i-TTL or Canon E-TTL Transmitters.
