It's trend made popular by youtubers like James Charles and Nikki Tutorials where all the normal lights in our room are turned off, and only red LED lights are used! Why? Because the red light makes it impossible to see any other colors! So while Jenny and I do our makeup we won't be able to see what eyeshadows we picked, if our contour is blended, etc!
