THE ALPS 8K | A Time-Lapse Adventure

This timelapse film 'THE ALPS 8K' takes you on a journey through the breathtaking rugged landscapes of the most popular mountain range in Europe. The Alps stretch across eight Alpine countries: France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Germany, Liechtenstein, Monaco and Slovenia. The first five of these countries are covered in this timelapse film. From the high altitudes of the Mont Blanc massif in France to the picturesque village of Hallstatt in Austria, passing by Matterhorn, Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald in the Swiss Alps, and from the Bavarian Alps in Germany to Tre Cime di Lavaredo in the dramatic Dolomites in Italy, this film was shot in no more than two weeks during a road trip through this spectacular mountain range in the summer of 2021. In this period we shot around 30.000 raw 8K images with our Nikon D850, most of which were used in the 3 months long editing process that resulted in this film.
