Minnesota Lake Conditions Late March 2020

Now that we are working from home we’ve had some time to edit some video shot a few of weeks ago. Secret Blackstone hiking trail and Bass Lake hiking trail get you to some amazing little views of easily accessed lakes outside the Boundary Waters. We thought you’d enjoy a look at lakes and their surfaces during winter. With rain now this week and wind and even some more snow these conditions will begin to change rapidly as April continues and eventually the ice will begin to rot top and bottom until it candles and disappears until next winter. We will see how conditions change and as we get out for a walk during the next week perhaps we’ll get you some updated shots.
