New Ukulele tutorials every Wednesday and Saturday Today we are going to learn how to learn, kind of funny right? I used moveable chord shapes to learn every single note on the fretboard. The idea is that you learn how to see the root notes, and learn the to move that chords. That means when you turn an A chord into a C chord, you know where the C notes are. When you move a C to a G chord, you know where the G notes are. Then what you do is do this with several songs and you'll start to learn the notes around the fretboard in a practical way, as well as learn some chord inversions and shapes up the fretboard.
