This is a hands-on look at the BOE MOD1S running both endcap options. One solid endcap and one vented endcap, each changing how the suppressor behaves depending on the host. The solid endcap is set up for maximum suppression, while the vented endcap helps relieve backpressure on gas-driven rifles. In this video I run both and talk through what actually changes at the gun — sound, gas, and overall shootability — rather than chasing numbers. If you’re running a semi-auto and deal with gas to the face, the vented setup makes sense. If you’re on a bolt gun or want the quietest configuration possible, the solid endcap is the move.
