It is located near a part of Georgia’s Intracoastal Waterway, but it is not a true island and there isn't a boat ramp or swimming within the park, but there is a boat ramp nearby. Nearby Tybee Island offers beaches for swimming. You can also find six miles of trails that wind through a maritime forest and past a salt marsh. You can see plenty of wildlife here to as well. The campground is set under moss-draped oak trees. Several campsites, Premium Campsites, have sewer hook-ups! All other sites are 30A/ Water or 30/50A water. No RV or tent, no problem, there are yurts available and cabins. The cabins have AC, bathrooms, a kitchen, a master bedroom, and a sleeping loft, as well as a picnic table, grill, and fire ring.
