This morning I'll be sharing on Ephesians 5:20 as this is a week to give thanks. Ephesians five overall talks to us and reminds us how important it is to live in the light and by the Holy Spirits' power; to be morally just and that kindness to others is important. Ephesians 5:20 'And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.' Being thankful takes the sting out of adversity. I mean being truly thankful and gracious, having genuine gratitude for the things that we have. Gratitude is so important in everything we do. The first thing I do when I open my eyes in the morning is to give thanks to God. For my life, my wife, my family, my kids, my business, genuine and real gratitude. It so happens as we head into this Thanksgiving week, we are sometimes more prone to be thankful for things – why – because those around us have that attitude right now. This verse is a reminder that we should attitude of universal thanksgiving. Be thankful ALL the time. Being controlled by the Spirit includes gratitude. Someone who is filled with faith and spirit is a person who is regularly thankful for what God has done in his or her life. --- --- Thank you for joining me in faith!
