Join us as we once again take advantage of Melbourne’s free train travel to and from the city, determined to finish our recent CBD staycation by ticking off a few spots we somehow missed. Melbourne truly is a multicultural melting pot, and today is all about soaking it in. We start with delicious French crepes at Le Petit Château tucked away in the iconic Block Arcade, before heading to Hardware Lane for Mexican-inspired happy hour beers. From there, it’s a classic pint of Guinness at the Irish Times, followed by one last beer (or so we say) at a closing-down happy hour special at The Turf Sports Bar on Queen Street. Still not ready to call it a day, we wander through the legendary AC/DC Lane, soaking up the atmosphere, before hopping back on the free train home — full, happy and culturally enriched.
