In this discussion, a part of the Education, Leadership, & Culture series, Vice President for Education at the Advanced Studies in Culture Foundation, interviews five Librarians, as they share their experiences and vision for how libraries impact the culture of learning, as well as societal culture. Discussants are Mark Ray, 2012 Washington Teacher of the Year and Director of Innovation and Library Services for Vancouver School District, as well as Future Ready Librarians Lead; Anthony Grisillo, 2014 Pennsylvania State Teacher of the Year and Teacher Librarian at the Rose Tree Media School District; Tish Calhamer, Community Engagement Manager at Gail Borden Public Library; Katherine Bassett, New Jersey State Teacher of the Year 2000 and Executive Director of the NJ Tutoring Corps, and CEO of Tall Poppy, LLC; and Celeste Bleu, Assistant Manager, Adult Services - Programs, Partnerships, and Outreach Division for Harris County (TX) Public Library.
