An overview and quick tour of the Wavefront Precision Series, which received a British Queen’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation in 2021. This versatile, line array system with a peak SPL of 133dB, is designed for small-to-medium scale touring and install applications that require a high output array with reduced weight and footprint. The flexibility of WPS makes it ideal for live sound reinforcement and installations in theaters, concert halls and houses of worship. WPS arrays can also be deployed as front-fill, delay or side-hang support for larger WP systems. WPS is a passive 3-way system that integrates a high density of drive units in a compact enclosure. It features two 8” LF drivers, four 4” cone midrange drivers and four 1”-exit HF compression drivers loaded by a molded HF horn that occupies the full width of the enclosure — defining the 100° horizontal constant directivity coverage pattern of both the HF and midrange sections.
