I gave my contact details to both drivers. I never heard from the Ford driver, but he had his own dash camera so he may not have needed my footage. I was contacted by the Citroen driver and provided him a copy of the footage. Last I heard, he told me that the footage shows the Ford driver decided to allow the accident to occur, and so in his opinion it shows they are both at fault. Unfortunately I never learned the outcome of this accident. It is my opinion that legally the Citroen driver was at fault because his lane ends and so he is essentially changing lanes. The Ford driver has right of way. HOWEVER ethically I put blame on both drivers, as they both played chicken with each other. If I were the Ford driver I would have started slowing down at 0:10 to allow the Citroen driver to merge, and this would have avoided the accident. If he had played chicken like this on a motorcycle he could have been injured or worse...
